Connecting to PCW VPN (for laptops already installed with the software)

To connect to the PCW VPN, you need to run the VPN client software installed in your computer.

• For Windows-based Computers
• For Mac Computers

• For Windows-based Computers:

1. In your computer’s taskbar, click the ‘Sophos Connect’ (blue letter C icon) and click

Connect.

Alternatively, you may search for ‘Sophos Connect’ from your computer search bar.

2. Enter your login credentials. 

For username, follow this format: first letter/s of your given name followed by first letter of your middle name then your surname (i.e. majadelacruz for Ma. Aurora Juana A. Dela Cruz).

To set up your account password, please contact IT Helpdesk Support. It is highly suggested that you include this step along with your request for VPN client software installation.

After you input the username and password Click the Sign In button.

3. Once logged in, click the Connect button. Wait until you’re finally connected in the VPN.

4. Once connected, you will be able to access the PCW internal systems such as the HRIS, GDX, DTS, eNGAs among others.

• For Mac Computers:

1. Look for the ‘Tunnelblick’ application in your application list. 

2. Once opened, click the Connect button.

The color of texts in the Tunnelblick status window should change from yellow to green.

3. Once connected, you will be able to access the PCW internal systems such as the HRIS, GDX, DTS, eNGAs among others.
